Scott Smith is a seasoned Human Resource Professional with more than 20 years of work experience in multiple areas of Human Resources. Prior to joining Mosteller & Associates in April 2018, Scott was the Vice President of Human Resources in a private equity owned manufacturing and distribution company.

He has spent 20 years in executive leadership roles with three manufacturing companies, ranging in size from 250 - 2000 employees. Scott has led all aspects of the Human Resource function in each, and as a business leader, has helped the management team of each to leverage strategic clarity, team health, people, process, and culture to fuel growth. Prior Scott spent 12 years in retail operations with P&L accountability before transitioning to Human Resources.

Scott was a member of Vistage International from 2010-2018, learning and applying best practices in a wide variety of functional disciplines and businesses.

Scott is an EOS® Implementer, SHRM-SCP certified, and an Achieve Global – Certified Trainer.

In addition to general management and Human Resource knowledge, Scott’s functional areas of specialization include compensation, benefits, HRIS, organizational development, and talent management.

Scott graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a BS in Marketing and minor in Economics. Scott is also a graduate of the Manufacturing Leadership Institute, developing a multi-discipline set of business leadership skills necessary to increase competitiveness, drive growth, and create sustainable business models.

Scott is involved with youth soccer and cycles to raise funds for the American Diabetes Association and New Life for Girls.
