Sherry Duffy

Sherry Duffy joined Mosteller & Associates in October 2000 with over 10 years of Human Resource experience.  Prior to joining Mosteller & Associates, Sherry worked in the financial services, technology, health services, and recreational and fitness industries.  While working in these organizations she was responsible for providing human resource services, as well as various other administrative responsibilities, to all levels of employees. 

Sherry has particular expertise in the employment function.  During her seven year tenure at a premier nationwide financial institution, she was responsible for prescreening entry level applicants, facilitating the new hire employment orientations, managing the external and internal applicant database, interviewing and managing the temporary and on-call employment pools, creating and writing employment advertisements, compiling unemployment documentation and attending hearings, and managing all phases of pre/post employment administration. 

While working for a small technology company, Sherry was responsible for the administration of all aspects of human resources including benefits, salary administration, employment, and training.  She also implemented a new worker’s compensation program, revised the employee handbook, and updated and implemented various policies and processes to comply with government regulations.

In addition to managing the Mosteller & Associates’ office, Sherry also manages several clients in various industries and is responsible for providing a full range of human resource services including: employee relations, coaching/consulting, recruiting, compliance, payroll administration, benefit administration, salary administration, and other administrative duties.

Sherry is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR), and continues to further her education through various seminars on human resource compliance with the Society for Human Resource Management and other organizations.  In addition to her applied human resource knowledge, she also has strong presentation, organizational and administrative skills.
