Karen H. DiGioia

Karen DiGioia joined Mosteller & Associates in January 2005 where she has partnered with numerous clients in a wide variety of human resources areas including:

  • Executive compensation
  • Creation and implementation of base compensation structures which are market-competitive, organizationally sound and internally equitable
  • Salary administration
  • Incentive compensation plan development and implementation
  • HRIS and payroll administration and third-party provider selection
  • Organizational restructuring
  • Performance management

Prior to her time with Mosteller & Associates, Karen had over 20 years of human resources experience, most recently as the Human Resource Manager at a premier regional bank. While much of Karen's experience was in the financial services industry, she began her career in an IT services organization and also worked for a durable medical goods provider.

Karen works extensively with senior executives and Boards of Directors on executive compensation design, structure, and competitive solutions. Karen has extensive employment/staffing experience including attracting and hiring high volumes of employees at varying responsibility levels. She also has been responsible for managing and motivating a recruiting staff. She developed and administered salary administration programs, including executive compensation and incentive programs and salary survey projects. She managed the payroll function, human resource information systems (HRIS) including experience with system conversations, responsibility for system customization and report development, third-party vendor relationship management and development of user training programs. Karen has educated, counseled and trained managers and employees in various aspects of human resources including compliance and employee relations. She has developed and administered compliance policies and programs such as Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Policies and Affirmative Action Plans (AAP).

Karen graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a BA in General Arts and Sciences. She is a member of the National Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) as well as PEBA (Pennsylvania Employee Benefits Association).
